How is it, dat a day full of promise always fails to materialise. Over the past wks, i've learnt, be it thru the hard way, dat we draw more joy thru the little things in everyday life than den frm the 'weekends' and fun activites we plan for ourselves. The SMU bash, the bar-top dancing and most recently my day-off are examples of disappointment. Funny how we spend our time frm mon-fri planning our wkend, anticipating a great time only to suffer an anti-climax the day itself. I actually realised, i feel the least empty, the least depressed, when i'm at work! The irony of it all is, i, like everyone else, hopes for an early book out.
Today, i spent a good 3 hrs alone outside. Have to say it ain't dat bad to wander ard alone on the streets, playin the observer, lettin my thoughts wander abt. it gets pretty surreal. Anyways, i've had the time to reflect and i feel a sense of clarity now.
