Met up wif the gang today, almost full strength! haha... met up at olio dome, pity i couldn't order anything... was juz too darn full frm lunch! Xmas lunch wif ang mohs really makes u feel like a stuffed turkey hahaha anyways went to watch kungfu after that. wasn't as funny as i'll expect. his shows hav less toilet humour and more special effects, which is a pity. i'm such a sucker for stupid crude jokes hahaha. and i feel that the special effects kinda takes the realism out of the scene. i guess he needs to try new things? if not he'll juz be making similar movies... a bit boring for him ya? hahaha... proceeded to suntec for dinner before headin home. haha saw my first gay couple in the mrt on my way back! they weren't the sissy type, they were the DANGEROUSLY gay type! the type dat wudn't be suspected gay if seen alone. they first caught my eye cuz they were usually close for two guys... gave them the benefit dat the mrt mite be too crowded... but as i took noticed of their body language towards each, they way their eyes met... my suspicions grew... was lookin out for any public displays of affection but couldn't see much except for slight body contact... anyways my suspicions were confirmed when i alighted the mrt. i asked my fren, yutian if he noticed them and he immediately said,"eh? u noticed too ah?" and he proceeded to tell me dat he saw one of them run his hand down the other's back! haha... anyways wud like to say dat i hav nothing against gays and dat i'm not a homo-phob. but i do admit dat i tend to judge gays whom i dun noe... oh wells...

Morning! Woke up abt 10 mins ago... Have to commend SAF security. I juz managed to sneak into the central Ops rm and draw my very own Ops rm key without waking up the duty clerk who was asleep on the chair. Hmmm... Wat tight security! hahaha ok... anyways waiting for today's COS to book-in den i can hand-over the stuff to him and book-out. hmmm wonder who's the duty personnel.... anyways don't expect him to come till abt 8am, cuz dats officailly when his duty starts, so... i'll hav to wait. To think in a mere 24hrs, i managed to blog 3 times, hahaha... oh wells... tot i'll end my duty wif a blog entry since i started it wif a blog entry. So lets see wat i accomplished during my Xmas duty. Surprisingly, i only managed to finish the two movies i had plus 2 episodes of gilmore girls haha... partly due to the fact dat quite another of frens were online throughout the day so i'll rather chat via msn den be anti-social, hahahah. I didn't managed to catch up on slp for the same reasons. Good thing i had abt 8 hrs of pretty gd slp! Cuz dun wan to feel lethargic later when i meet up wif my gang! woohoo! so exciting! hahah ok, i'm acting like a little girl... but who cares! hahaha :) Oh ya, i managed to survive the day despite forgoing all my main meals. hahahaha... For that i've to thank wendy! U'll be surprised how filling Hello Panda can be. I only manage to finish 2/3 of the box she gave me, which i calculated, amounted to aprrox. 4180 calories hahaha... think dats still a little under the requirement for a guy rite? anyways, gonna come back to a good lunch at my neighbour's. So no worries! pity i've gotta return to camp on mon... sigh... reuel u're so lucky! haha.. oh wells, i can take comfort dat not many pple be ard since everyone's clearing leave. lets hope the irritating pple will be on leave and my buddies will be ard, hahaha. gotta get certain things done by nxt wk, not gonna say wat hehehe.... so hopefully i can find the time haha. ok ciao peeps. wow oredi 745..haha gd way of passing time

Last tuesday, when i first met up wif wendy after her return to singapore she mentioned that one bad thing abt me is that i don't make a conscious effort to 'chase' a girl. We didn't really discuss abt it and kinda left it at that. Can't say if its been bothering me, but i do think abt it frm time to time. i guess being alone in the office gives me time to ponder on such stuff. so here i am typing haha... anyways, her comments have triggered questions in my head. Firstly, what constitutes 'chasing'? Is askin a girl out on dates 'chasing'? Must gifts be showered? Is chatting over the phone part of 'chasing'? To me 'chasing' happens when u try to impress the girl by obvious means instead of doin it subtlely. Secondly, its got me wondering if i had taken any actions wif girls i were fond of in the past wud things be any diff now. i believe when wendy said 'chasing' she meant goin abt making ur interest known disregarding the consequences of ur actions. pls correct me if i'm wrong wendy. This probably means surprising the girl with a gift for example. Yes it makes the girl feel special. I agree. but, really, how special is it? Think abt it. A guy does the very same thing to every girl he has interests in, regardless of whether things work out or not. Its not exclusive. So how can it be special? Ya, special for that moment when he thinks u're the one. The other thing is, if the girl only takes notice of me or reciprocrates the same feelings after i 'chase' her, is she truly fallin in love wif me or juz the romaticism of it all? will it be worth it? It certainly isn't to me. i'm not prepared to waste energy and effort on a girl to only find out that she was in it for the moment. I believe an approach with the intent of building a relationship with the foundation of communication and understanding is much more fruitful. Intimate consersations, opening up to one another, forming an emotional bond between each other. But i guess its alot harder this way cuz it leaves us very vulnerable to the other party. To share ur most private thoughts to someone requires alot of trust, and if that trust is broken it can leave us devastated. But i feel its worth it. Yes, it may be a slow process. Building trust does take time. But its alot more genuine becuz once the two make a commitment to each other, there is oredi a bond between the two.

sigh... not sure where i'm goin wif this one, haha.. juz writing wat ever comes to mind... guess i'll juz stop here for now. wat to do, i'm no expert in love haha

Haha first time bloggin frm camp, cool! hhahaha... my duty has juz started and i'm oredi on the com slackin hahaha.. oh wells, there's nothing else to do anyways... gonna start my movie/sitcom marathon soon haha... gonna watch before sunrise and manchurian candidate and a few seasons of that 70's show and gilmore girls, courtesy of my elder sis hahah... if i'm awake enuf, mite read a book haha... surprisingly i'm pretty upbeat considering 1. its early in the morning and i only had 3hrs of slp, 2. i'm doin 24hr COS Duty on Xmas DAY! guess the xmas spirit is workin wonders hahaha... Anyways xmas eve was not too bad... stayed home till dinner time before meetin my family and two other families for dinner at westlake. Dinner wasn't too bad. After which, we headed down to holland v for desert at nydc, yum yum! Ended the day by goin down to orchard to meet wendy and rox. place was really packed with plenty of 'vandalism' goin on. thankfully i wasn't a victim, can't say the same for wendy and rox though... haha... pple noe better den to mess wif muah! wahahaha... oh ya, nearly couldn't get a cab back home.... was goin to resign myself to walkin home, ok at least to hv when NR8 came to my rescue! hav to thank rox. took NR8 to hv before managing to get a cab home. hopefully, rox and wendy didn't hav too much trouble gettin home too. Looking forward to boxing day, gonna hav a gd lunch at my neighbours' before meetin up wif the gang in the afternoon! hopefully i wouldn't be too tired...

The past two weeks have been great! Woohoo! haha.. ok la kinda exaggerating but who cares, i'm happy haha... Was dying to blog earlier but juz didn't have the time... was riding on a high... its always easier to blog when u're down ya? well dats the case for me... therapy ya? haha ok, anyways the past 2 wks been great cuz firstly there was my Birthday, which was well spent wif joda and xy. Secondly, wendy returned to singapore! lastly, this wk i only went to work on mon hahaha... tuesday i was on leave, wed and thurs was my unit chalet outing and tmr my unit given offday for xmas eve hahaha.. too bad i hav cos duty on xmas day itself. but wif my current mood, no 24hr duty is goin to get my spirits down! plus i borrowed 60 plus discs frm my sis to watch in camp wahahaha! yeah she ripped alot of sitcoms etc when she was in australia studying..

So far the wkend has been a disappointment... Why am i so suay!??!?! Hahaha... to think, last wk, i was lamenting dat pple always 'jio' me out on the same day forcing me to make a choice...if not i'll have great wkends every wk! hahaha... sigh.. now, its a double-whammy... First, i cancelled my joint b dae party plans cuz i tot i'll be goin to the zoo wif my classmates. In the end, zoo got cancelled... Plan B: i remembered my soccer teammates organised a match, so i tot my day was saved... In the end, turned up only to have the match cancelled due to poor organisation on our opponents part... we nearly fought.. haha.. anyways... all was not bad... at least i got to see my mates again, talked cock... haha an a really funny thing happened on our way home... my fren and i were walking up the overheard brigde when we both tripped on the same step, at the same time, and looked at each other and laughed and the same time! hahaha u'll mite not find it funny but, it was to the two of us hahaha... i mean wat were the chances of dat happening? hilarious stuff.

anyways, christmas and my birthday are coming up... u noe wat dats means, hehehehe... everyone's coming up wif their wish list... well... i dun really have one, well my wishes for this yr aren't anything material... yup. but i do have a list of things i need and it so happens dat i hav the cash now hahaha... so here goes:

1. 1 pair of jeans (maybe 2 if i can afford it)
2. 1 pair of dress pants
3. new t-shirts
4. boxers (if i can afford)
5. Cologne

not alot of stuff, but pretty taxing on my wallet haha... notice its all gotta do wif appearance? not dat i'm gettin vain or anything, haha, juz in the midst of changing my wardrobe. kinda out-grew the current one... having trouble finding clothes to wear!

1000hrs - read newspaper, await saikang

1015 to 1130hrs - saikang/read book followed by nap (eyes very dry. need to rest hahaha)

1130 to 1230hrs - lunch

1230hrs - water-parade (kinda 'optional' hahaha)

1230 to 1715hrs - try to siam saikang/snoop ard the other office branches in unit/chit-chat/read & nap

1715hrs - last parade/fall-out

notice though its supposed to be a summary of the past wk, it is very much a day's schedule? That's cuz EVERY BLOODY DAY IS THE SAME!
only diff is this wk, my staple read was an english dictionary... its a much lighter read as compared to the pyshcology books i'm into rite now haha... read frm the back of the dict, stopped at page 999 haha.. that reminds me.... kinda bemused by the dict. shan't publicly disclose its name, but i'm really dun think the inclusion of explecitives, racist slurs and other what nots are really necessary in a dictionary. kids might pick them up!

oh ya, this wk i was dealt a really heavy blow frm my Ops Warrant... He scheduled my extra duty i signed on Christmas!!!!!! Arrgghh! there goes my holiday.... but i've taken it pretty well... have no idea why.... anyways, not all news has been bad.... i orso found out my nxt promotion to 3rd sgt will be on 16th jan... dat means a fat pay-day on the 9th of feb (back-pay) on CNY! hehehehe... plus i'll be of same rank as all the lau jiao technicians... hahaha see if u'll dare bully this transport supervisor! in ur face dudes! it takes me 3 mths to get to 3rd sgt while u guys take er... 10,12 mths? wahahahaha! a stern warning to those who threw their weight ard while i was a private, what goes ard comes ard! karma my friends hahaha
