another week has flown by... BUSY BUSY BUSY! its funny how i encourage myself to keep goin despite the long hrs at work, using the wkend as comfort, knowing i can finally rest and unwind when in truth, i never ever feel that way when it does come. oh wells...
played soccer yesterday afternoon. wasn't too happy with my performance, too rusty, but i can forgive myself haha. wat worries me more is my failing fitness... i couldn't even last a half! two wks ago i played court soccer and nearly died as well... now, my legs and abs are all aching. yes, abs... didn't realise i use my abs when playing till today haha. i've said it before and im saying it again, ARMY has made me unhealthy! sigh... need to start running and working out in the gym again. i must be able to run 2.4 under 9:25 again! but i wonder how... hate exercising at night... i dunno why... juz not my style hahah... prefer the afternoon. but with army, looks like im forced to do it at night. even so, its difficult. i get home ard 7 plus 8... hmmm... i could push my dinner back to abt 9 plus. dat'll at least give me an hr to exercise. hopefully my stomach can tahan till 9 plus hahaha
anyways, after soccer, went to meet up with a few campmates for dinner and a movie. watched the new jack neo film 'San Ke Hao Ren' aka One more chance. Was pretty good, as most jack neo films are... but was kinda disappointed by the ending.. too abrupt (much like the War of the worlds) and a tad lame. i also felt dat this movie was more government-friendly den the past few. maybe its got something to do with the award they gave him during NDP last yr, haha.
The trip down to orchard left me envious as well... seeing some many young couples juz made me jealous! dunno y i've been so 'despo' lately hahaha... juz yearning to shower someone with all the love and affection i can muster! just haven't found the right person yet. boy is she goin to be lucky! wahahaha! but i sincerely believe i'll love her deeply.
