Celebrated Xiaohui's birthday on thurs nite. i'd always wanted to check out the Stadium Waterfront so i suggested we go there. boy was i sorely disappointed! the place is dead man... sucks big time. ok, so we did go on a week night. but still... its sooooo small! needless to say, we opted to hav dinner at suntec instead. So as we headed for the car, i see a bloody parking attendent! Sian... juz when i tot to myself," heng i nvr put parkin coupon... if not it'll be such a waste...." damn it lah! 30 bucks haha... haiz... dats wat u get when u're lazy.. shud hav listened to xiaohui and walked back to the car to put the coupons... wat the hell is he doin at a deserted carpark at 9pm on a weekday!!!! practically summoned all the cars there... must hav been real shiok, ya? xiaohui was pretty high as well, kept laughing and rubbing it in... very funny to see ur friend become 30 bucks poorer hor? hahaha... on hindsight, was really dumb of me lah... i dun pay for the coupons leh... waste orso nvr mind hehehehe... wats dat compared to 30 dollars! hahaha.. anyways, ate crystal jade kitchen at suntec. haha barely made the last order, no wonder everyone else was walking in the opp direction as us hahahaha... sigh, dats the problem wif Singapore... where's the night life man? finished dinner ard 10 plus and were clueless once again on wat to do, where to go next haha after much stoning, xiaohui mentioned mt faber. adding dat she always wanted to celebrate her birthday there. my immediate reaction was, y nvr say earlier! haha.. good thing i orso want to go up there and see, see having nvr been there before too. driving ard mt faber juz reminds me of Inital D haha. After some brief exploring (both of us too hum chee lah.. so dark... plus i was too keen on voyeurism haha.. nearly did tho haha), we sat down at Altivo Bar (only found out its name upin seeing the reciept haha) anyways, its the so called 'hotspot' of mt faber. some (tikos in particular) might disagree tho wahahaha... but in truth, there ain't much choice up there... the view ain't dat great cuz there's nothing scenic to see but there aren't many places with the same concept. not a lot of hills in Singapore ma hahaha... So, we juz sat down and chatted our time away... sharing abt our families and our pri sch days! which brought the most laughter, mainly from xiaohui laughing at my very unforgettable sports day in pri 4. i won't elaborate on y its was soo unforgettable haha. we left ard 2 am, she was gettin worried i'll be too sleepy to drive haha.. plus i had to wake up pretty early the next day. Finally reached home ard 3 am.
Was really surprised dat i woke up at 9am today. an hr earlier den my alarm! was expecting to be dead tired having worked my ass off the whole wk.. oh wells... So how did i spend my leave? juz went back to my parent unit, ANG 2, for its 'birthday' celebration. nothing grand, juz took the chance to meet up wif my old mates and remind them dat i'm suffering at gedong! haha. life is unfair, sobs... i work my ass off the whole wk, opting on my own accord to return to ANG 2 during my leave and yet i have to return to work my ass off tmr and sunday! while the other tpt sup attached, gets off to attend the celebration (when he noes nobody frm ang 2, having been attached out since the day he was posted in) and gets to fall out early ard 2pm when he's the slackest amongst all the sgts at ACMTL. dats the trouble wif the army, nvr pays to be professional and efficient and useful when u're a NSF. still seeing if my efforts will be awarded one day or will the exploitation continue....
